OVERVIEW

The Rivals in Red event was a tour hosted during the summer of 2024 featuring three European soccer league teams touring only three days throughout the United States. Coincidentally, Manchester United stopped in the town of Columbia, SC, where MOA is located. Manchester United holds the record for attracting the highest number of fans—109,318 to be exact—during a match in the US. Consequently, a huge turnout was expected for this weekend, and the team at MOA aimed to draw in as many new customers as possible

Sports advertising demands legibility, readability, attention, and excitement and this project was aimed at bringing in fans from all over the world to stop by MOA. The event promotion and the graphics were featured and shared throughout Instagram. The outdoor signage and posters played a crucial role in attacking ticket sales and bringing overall excitement around a major sporting event.
